Our Founder, Alyzeh's Note:

I sketched this artwork back in 2019 when I was stuck at home here in the US and missing Pakistan. This piece captures a brief moment of my experience walking through one of the densest neighborhoods of Karachi: Lyari. With it’s maze-like narrow streets, dangerously dangling low wires passing over houses under which groups of children play without a care in the world.

Now I’ve never been to Palestine, but the streetscapes documented in images and videos immediately reminded me of this neighborhood in Pakistan. So I’m dedicating this entire piece to the children of Palestine who are being robbed of their innocence and for whom the scars will run deep.

My hope is that the funds raised will go a long way in helping the Palestinian Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF) to provide medical care to the thousands of children who are enduring unimaginable trauma and suffering.
